This new antenna location extends the coverage area for BendBroadband?s wireless services including mobile broadband, fixed high-speed Internet and home phone. The new coverage areas include: Mt Bachelor, the Cascade Lakes Highway and the many lakes and trailheads that are within line of sight of the Mt Bachelor antenna. The facility, which will be known as BendBroadband Vault, will offer enterprise-class collocation services utilizing an extensive, privately-managed fiber network and energy-efficient power systems. A staff of engineering experts will provide professional services to customers needing network, server and storage design, business continuity/disaster recovery, product selection, virtualization, and cloud computing infrastructure. BendBroadband Vault will occupy an existing warehouse in the Basalt Business Park at 20845 Sockeye Place, located in the recently announced Enterprise Zone designated by the State of Oregon. Retrofitting of the facility is expected to be completed by the end of 2010. |

| BendBroadband Experiences Power Outage at Headquarters Impacting Company Services in Central Oregon | ||
| April 8, 2010 Bend, Ore. - A power failure at BendBroadband’s primary technical facility temporarily affected services for nearly all of the company’s customers in Central Oregon earlier today. The outage occurred at approximately 11:17 a.m. on Thursday, April 8 and was the result of an unspecified environmental power event in the area which is still under investigation. The root cause of the customer-impacting outage is being reviewed by company engineers and the redundant power vendor. The company’s backup generators were manually started by company personnel and most services were back online within 10 to 15 minutes. |
